This help topic will explain to you how to configure leaves as per your company policy. You can do various settings such as defining Leave Types, Week Off.
Settings
In this window, you will be configuring leave module as per your company policy.

To configure Settings:
- Click on the Settings menu, select Settings in the sub-menu.
- In the screen that opens, select the LeaveReporting Based on Calendar Year or Financial Year.
- Enable Request – Approval Process if required. By enabling Leave request approval process, each employee will be able to apply for leave, and such leaves can be approved or rejected by designated approvers.
- Mention from which month leave tracking to be enabled.

Click on Save button to save details.
Opening Balance
In this window, you will be entering the opening balance of each type of leave details for each employee.

To enter Opening Balance:
- Click on the Settings menu, select Opening Balance in the sub-menu.
- In the screen that opens, select the Employee, Leave.
- Enter Opening Balance details and Remarks.

Click on Save button to save details.
Leave Settings
In this window, you will be allocating leaves per month for each employee.

Configure Leave Settings:
As per the company policy, if the Number of Earned Leaves are 24 Per Year, you have to allot 2 Leaves per month. If There are 6 Sick Leaves per you have to allocate 0.5 Leaves per month. If you configure Leave allotments applicable to each employee, all the leave allotment happens automatically when a new month gets created.
- Click on the Settings menu, select Leave Settings in the sub-menu.
- This screen displays employee leave allotment details
- Click on Details in Action column or Bulk Leave Allotment Settings button with the checkbox enabled.
- Fill all the details such as Month, Year, Leave and Number of Leaves.

Click on Save button to save details.
Week Off Settings
In this window, you will be configuring week off details.
Usually, Sunday is Week Off day, and in many organisations, there will be an additional week off such as alternative Saturday off. All such week offs can be configured in the Week Off-Setting Screen.

To configure Week Off Settings:
- Click on the Settings menu, select Week Off Settings in the sub-menu.
- In the screen that opens, select Weekly Off Group, Week Day, & either All or Specific.

Click on Save button to save details.
